Original Method (Lineage Tradition)

PASSING OF LINEAGE TRADITIONS
Original Method training is based on base principles that are shared by all individuals; all cultures, humans, in the most general sense of the words. We could say that the foundations come from “what is similar” in all peoples. This is not to say that all people are the same but rather that we all share basic, intrinsic qualities that are found in humans of every race, creed and color. Lineage Training is a formal structure that begins with physical, mental and spiritual structure; spiritual in the way it addresses our general use of ”belief” as this relates to our capacity to live our lives; non-religious yet very tied to the accomplishment of anything we choose to involve our selves in. Original Method engages the aspect of learning through the mind/body union creating a context for experiential learning. High Education involves three aspects of development:

  • Written/Oral Transmission: this is the “study” element, listening/following
  • Practice/ Training Aspect: self discovery through experimentation
  • Teaching/Sharing Response: non-linear refinement, openness through connection

Balance, capacity and potential are reached when these three aspects are developed equally in the mind/body and spirit.

BODY/MIND POSTION
During the course of any given day we would find ourselves in any/all of these basic positions:

  1. Standing
  2. Standing with movement; turning and/or weight-shifting
  3. Sitting
  4. Lying Down
  5. Walking

Many of the current Health imbalances, illnesses and injuries are a direct result of basic misconceptions of the importance of these body positions. These are, in fact, the starting points of training: to re-establish correct posture, alignments, imbalanced use of the muscle body and mental process and to support internal connections, natural intelligence and the belief in the self.

REQUIREMENTS FOR TRAINING

  • Self-Sincerity
  • Willingness to Heal
  • Desire to become Self-Responsible
  • Regular Attendance

In the Lineage, this is referred to as “a place to begin” and is essentially a spoken arrangement between the practioner and the instructor to engage in a shared relationship of giving and receiving. It is understood that the financial compensation is a “token”, not a product in exchange due to its intangible nature, that is more than fair by market standards and used to further the Instructor who is in service to the Passing of Human Lineage Traditions.
