Welcome to the "Rabbit Hole".....
Our lens of perception can slide from the smallest detail to the largest vision and at any point we could forget that all the parts make up the whole and that, in fact, they are just reflections of our changing perceptions
Welcome to all who seek their truth and it's changing nature... Clearly, as we have all heard so many times, there are many paths that seem to lead to the same place. There also seem to be an infinite amount of questions balanced by infinite amounts of answers. As we explore the 10,000 things, the dualistic nature is revealed over and over and yet we can become easily over-focused on any of those 10,000 things and lose sight of the whole. Our lens of perception can slide from the smallest detail to the largest vision and at any point we could forget that all the parts make up the whole and that, in fact, they are just reflections of our changing perceptions; not to be trapped or stagnated by fascination or fear-trap-thought-forms. It would seem that most of the old traditions and lineages warn us to stay aware of these things along the walk of our lives and yet the qualities of mindfulness that keep us in the rhythm of change can also be misunderstood. "Familiarity" which can give us a sense of ease and unite many positive qualities can also put us in a trance or half-sleep state. "Remembering", the positive state of not forgetting, can also be "selective" and more religated to our desires than to need. "Stability", or the ability to hold our consciousness in extension can become ridgid or a contrived, forced state and be void of flexibility. In short, linear perceptions must connect to relational or circular perceptions so that our state of open, spacious, adaptive and resourceful nature can morph with the ongoing changes that happen moment to moment... Without a fluid state of consciousness, one cannot even remember the aspects of this brief perspective.
