Four Pillars Eight Words - Chinese Astrology and Your Practice

When was the last time you thought about the way in which you made choices in your life? What instructs you to choose one course of action over another? Chinese people have known for a long time that we have an internal compass, our heart, which guides us in all aspects of our life. We have the innate ability to feel if something is favorable or good for us.

Why does "Modern Intelligence" Interfere with Life Cycles?

When we think of improving our own Health and Wellness, we often have the perspective that has been given to us by the media, in other word there is more to consider than is socially/culturally recognized. For most of us, we are growing our understanding as more is being exposed due to the availability of the Internet. Still, marketing and advertising has learned to mask itself as “source information”, and while some of this is accurate, much of it is aimed at personal or corporate gain.

Practicing stillness

Practicing stillness can be shown through movement. Movement occurs in stillness. The bodily systems are circuits within that connect to circles outside. A practice that involves moving the body in circular ways connects inside and outside circles. When we view ourselves as actually being inside and outside circles, instead of "us" as a static ego-entity, then life is flowing more like water. When life is flowing like water we move from situation to situation without preconceived notions. Does water think about where its going next?

STILLNESS & STABILITY Medicines from With-In

My greatest interest in this life is to continue to understand what connects us and what separates us, from a personal experiential perspective, from my observation of my outside world and from my inter-personal relations. I also study history, how and why it repeats itself, Cultural Traditions and Lineages of Higher Learning, all in hopes of a deeper understanding of the Human condition and our many expressions of it.

revalations of source water essence

no one cries for the river that provides the water for all life to rely on - it naturally emanates from its source and gives and gives and gives without any expectation but being delivered back to its source, the mother - a society who understands the essence of water and flow then must realize that they ride on the energy of those who know the Tao and are not themselves source creation wizards (yet) - give back to the models which you rely upon for all of your functions and smart and wonderful traits and give back more than you take and even question taking as an idea because the energies

Linear and Relational Thought - Capitalism, it hurts us.

In the practice there is a fundamental distinction between two modes of thought. These modes are revealed to us by practicing. We can not see them in our ordinary life without constant practice, because we are predomintly trained into one and not the other. This training is based on capitalism, or the erradication of personal freedom and the theory of economic growth and accumulation. This growth requires workers who have no proper, higher, or conscious sense of personal dilligence, principles, or standards.Think the practice and the economy are not intimately interrelated, think again.

Welcome to the "Rabbit Hole".....

Our lens of perception can slide from the smallest detail to the largest vision and at any point we could forget that all the parts make up the whole and that, in fact, they are just reflections of our changing perceptions

PASSING OF HUMAN LINEAGES; CIRCLE OF LIFE TRADITIONS

It is important to have a good strong, neutral place to begin…. a place that seeks to identify “current common imbalances” that we are sharing, as individuals, as families and as groups of smaller and larger numbers. It is equally important to keep in the highest priority our understanding and deep connection to “what is the same in all of us”. It is no longer a question of IF there is a problem; it is no longer a question as to IF we need to collectively do something.
