A simple way to improve your practice is to stop for a moment and realize exactly what you are doing. Then, you will see what parts are not in alignment and it is then simply a matter of putting a relaxed effort into allowing the condition to change. Allowing the condition to change is noticing what the condition is! An external version of this is looking in a mirror and seeing what your body is doing. An internal version of this is being sensitive enough to just know through feeling. Try one or the other for awhile, swing around, you will probably find a good centered place.
